Friday night, March 28, Mount Carmel's eighth grade participated in a special event held just for them.  The class gathered in the gym for the first "8 Out Late" night.  The evening was filled with a variety of activities that included eating, dancing and singing.  To start the night off, the eighth grade representatives and board members performed an original, entertaining skit.  The class then worked on a service project for an upcoming picnic sponsored by the "Kids Kicking Cancer" organization by coloring nametags.
