As the juniors began their skit, everyone in the entire gym held their breath. No one was disappointed as the juniors transformed the gym into Whoville. The Grinch had stolen the Spirit of Carmel and the girls were determined to get it back. The crowd cheered while little "Cindy Who" got the Spirit back from the Grinch while rhyming in perfect time.

The sophomores were up next. Their skit was like Survivor, with Mount Carmel girls competing to win. One by one, the grade levels were eliminated until only the Butterflies were left standing. It was a repeat of last year, but the charm of Survivor was still there as the school laughed and cheered.

Next, the seniors began their performance, "The Sounds of Carmel." It was similar to The Sound of Music, only set at Mount Carmel. "I was very proud of the way the entire class participated in Gym Day," said Mrs. Olivard. "They were very easy to work with because of their excitement and enthusiasm about their last Gym Day."
