For those with the dance spirit, the MCA Dance Camp introduced girls to various routines including jazz, pom-pon, novelty, and high kick. The Carmelette Dance Team assisted the campers in learning their routines.
In the Sewing camp, girls learned some basic techniques such as sewing on a button, repairing a seam, and putting in a hem. Working on a sewing machine, campers learned about basic machine parts, threading a bobbin, learning control, reading and following sewing instructions, and learning about sewing tools.
