Walk for the Hungry

On Saturday, March 6, students from Mount Carmel came out for the 23rd annual Walk for the Hungry.  Schools from around the metro area collected pledges to support the activities of the New Orleans chapter of Bread for the World.


 
The goal of the New Orleans chapter of Bread for the World is to organize people and collaborate with community organizations in developing solutions to poverty and hunger issues through prayer, education, advocacy and fundraising.

Donations are always welcome at Second Harvesters Food Bank.
