The other attending ladies seemed to agree enthusiastically. Adrienne Woods also concluded that, "It was one of the best dances I ever went to. It kind of stunk that there were a lot of my friends going to Jesuit prom, too, but I think we managed. Everyone had a great time."
As for "prom drama," there seemed to be little from the looks on the faces of most of the ecstatic juniors. The Panthers danced the night away with bounding zeal, but made sure not to forget to look back at the reality that would soon become a sweet memory. With a tip of the top hat and a brush of the shoulders, the junior class whisked out of their pearly archway with bright smiles and full hearts to approach new and foreign tasks that had yet to be presented to them with abounding courage and enthusiasm.
