On May 2, the entire Mount Carmel family gathered in the Assembly Center to honor two important mother figures: the Blessed Mother and Sister Camille Anne Campbell.  The celebration included a May Crowning after Mass.  Then the real surprise came when Sister Camille Anne entered the Assembly Center to discover that she was the special guest of honor.

For Sister Camille Anne's 25th anniversary as principal, the faculty, students, and other friends of Mount Carmel presented with special gifts: a vacation certificate, a new scholarship fund in her name, and best of all, words of love.  Here are some additional words expressing what Sister Camille Anne means to us...

"She most definitely deserved the gifts we bestowed upon her due to her great ability to lead."

"I love how she knows everything that is going on in the school."

"She is always calm, never loses her temper, and never raises her voice."

"WMCA is thankful for the new technology she is funding, including the AVID program that we received this year."

"My favorite moment in the ceremony occurred when Sister began to cry, because it showed us how much she appreciated the Mass."
