The Blessing of the Advent wreaths took place at both independent study periods in the assembly center.  Some juniors who are Teens for Life members read at the service and Sister Rose Marie blessed the Advent wreaths.  Mrs. Amy Peavey spoke to the students about how they should reflect on their own lives as we wait for the coming of Jesus.  Mrs. Peavey related the waiting of the season of Advent to her own waiting for her bundle of joy due in March.  Chorale performed a beautiful rendition of O Come O Come Emmanuel.  The Advent wreaths were then brought back to homeroom as a candle will be lit each day during the morning prayers.
