Christmas in the Oaks is an event Mount Carmel participates in every year.  The theme this year, “Mount Carmel Wishes You a Colorful Christmas” was certainly evident on the tree.  The National Art Honor Society decorated the green Christmas tree with very colorful, painted ornaments.  The tree was beautiful, and on display for others to see.  Rhythm, Carmelettes, and Cubettes danced to Christmas songs, such as tunes by ‘NSYNC, while guests watched.  Cloggers also made their usual Christmas appearance and performed for the crowd to, “Frosty the Snowman”.  Each group took turns rotating and dancing for smiling visitors.  The teams were even dressed up, and wore Santa hats to go along with the Christmas music they danced to!
