Walk for the Hungry

Putting their best foot forward, students from Mount Carmel recently participated in the 27th annual Walk for the Hungry.  Schools from around the metro area collected pledges to support the activities of the New Orleans chapter of Bread for the World.


The Walk began on Canal Street.

 

 


The goal of the New Orleans chapter of Bread for the World is to organize people and collaborate with community organizations in developing solutions to poverty and hunger issues through prayer, education, advocacy and fundraising.

Donations are always welcome at Second Harvesters Food Bank.
