After finishing their last exam of the semester, students filed into the Assembly Center to celebrate not only this final day of test taking but also the beginning of the Christmas holidays.  Archbishop Gregory Aymond made a special appearance at Mount Carmel to celebrate Mass with the assistance of Chaplain Father Mike O'Rourke.

"God is good," said the Archbishop in his welcome to the students.
"All the time," they responded.
"God is faithful," he added.
"All the time," the students chimed.

In his homily, Archbishop Aymond spoke about gift giving, reminding the girls that God gave his people the most precious gift - the gift of his Son, Jesus.  "God becomes one of us, flesh….," he said. "Jesus is the human face of God…."

The Archbishop encouraged each of the students to remember Jesus in their lives throughout this Christmas season.  "What happens when we accept Jesus?" he asked the girls.  "We begin to see him in other people."
