In contrast to their regional game on Monday, the Cubs took the lead early in Thursday night's Quarterfinal playoff game against the Ruston Bearcats.  Mount Carmel maintained their lead throughout the game, but the Bearcats gained ground in the 4th period.  No overtime this time however.  The Cubs maintained their poise and closed out the final seconds to clinch the 47-41 win.
