Mount Carmel's swim team closed out its season with a big splash. In fact, the Cubs remained undefeated the entire season. The team dominated the district championship by beating Northshore by 81 points. On November 2nd and 3rd, the team competed at the Metro Championship at St. Martin's Episcopal School. Overall there were more than thirty teams; the Cubs came out on top winning the meet. On November 17, the Cubs traveled to Sulphur, Louisiana where they captured the Division I LHSAA Championship.
