In compiling a 28-4 regular season record, including an undefeated run through district, the Mount Carmel volleyball team relied on a relatively young squad bolstered by strong senior leadership. The regular 10-player rotation boasts four seniors, two juniors and four sophomores. "The seniors have been outstanding," says Hagadone, "and that has really helped the younger players develop confidence."

Those seniors include pre-season Times-Picayune All Metro Emily Pepperman and recent Dominican Tournament MVP Paige Gantar, along with Brittany Fields and Devan Peterson. Rounding out the squad are juniors Lindsay Hernandez, Alexis Daigle and Emily Wells; sophomores Victoria Boraski, Ashley Lala, Alex Pfefferle, Megan O'Neill, Ashley Nerin, Amanda Wells, Kaylynn Genemares, and Taylor Vanderwerff.
