The Carmelettes have done it again! The girls returned from competing in the American All Star Louisiana state Dance/Drill Team championship with the title of Division III Sweepstakes Champions. All of the countless practices led the 62 Carmelettes to a great outcome.

The girls performed three team dances: jazz, pom pon and novelty. They earned the title of State Champions for their novelty routine and received the Sweepstakes Award for having the two highest cumulative scores for their pom and novelty routines in Division III of the high school category.
