The officers of the Carmelettes were named State Champions in their category. Captain-Natalie Jeansonne and Co-Captains-Amanda Arostegui, Brenna Gonzales, Caila Gowland, Jill Hankel, and Katie Holifield performed a jazz dance to "Knock on Wood". The captains are to thank for all of the Carmelettes numerous awards at State. They worked extremely hard choreographing the dances, teaching them to the team, and perfecting them just in time to win at competition.
