Cub Cheer

The Game squad Cheerleaders promote school spirit through their participation in various activities throughout the school year:  volleyball and basketball games, Open House, Fall Festival, and pep rallies.  The Game squad attends a three night summer camp hosted by the Universal Cheerleaders Association.  In addition, the cheerleaders participate in Mount Carmel's Summer Program by holding a cheer camp for younger girls, march in several Mardi Gras parades, and participate in a service project.  The cheerleaders practice once a week for two hours.

The Competition squad attends regional and national competitions throughout the year.  They also perform at one pep rally and cheer at Open House.  Competition squad members try out each year.  Present squad members compete on an equal basis with other squad candidates at tryouts.  Practices are every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:00.
