Mount Carmel's 8th grade dance team, the Cubettes, attended the American All-Star Competition in Lafayette, Louisiana on January 19 and 20, 2008.  They placed in the following categories:  Small Ensemble - 1st place;  Officers - 4th place;  Jazz - 2nd place, and 2nd place in state;  Pom - 4th place;  Prop - 1st place, and 1st place in state;  Choreography award for Prop.
