The Mount Carmel Academy Investment Club introduces students to the concept of investing in the stock market.  Stocks are considered after several weeks of research and analysis.  Students will learn how to use the Internet and the library to investigate a company's earnings growth and potential, revenue, and dividends.  The club participates in virtual stock exchanges on the Internet and maintains an Internet portfolio.  Students learn the fundamental basics of the stock exchange and how to apply that knowledge to the club's portfolio.
