Science Olympiad is an interscholastic academic competition consisting of numerous events involving biology, earth science, chemistry, physics, computers, and technology.  This year Mount Carmel entered 21 of the 22 events.  Months of preparation including countless hours after school paid off as the team placed 4th overall.

The individual events for which we ranked in the top three places were:
1st place:  Boomilever, Bottle Rocket, Fossils
2nd place:  Chemistry Lab, Qualitative Analysis
3rd place:  Practical Data Gathering, Wright Stuff.
