On October 11, members of Mount Carmel's Student Government were officially inducted into their elected offices.  The ceremony took place in the Assembly Center before the faculty and student body.  Former Lt. Governor, Mr. Jimmy Fitzmorris (aka Mr. Mount Carmel) addressed the student body at the induction ceremony.  Before distributing the pins to the inductees, he exhorted everyone on the importance of service to others.
