The purpose of the Technology Honor Society of Mount Carmel Academy shall be to promote and recognize in students technological literacy, including the creative and responsible use of technology, scholarship, commitment to service, and leadership.  The Technology Honor Society adheres to the tenets of the National Technology Achievement Award Program sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and the Technology Student Association (TSA).

Members of the faculty nominate a student for membership.  The nomination approval is based upon the student's potential to meet the criteria for technological literacy, scholarship, commitment to service, and leadership.
