CLC provides an avenue of altruistic expression for its members in order that they may learn more about the Christian message of living life in the spirit of loving service to others.

During the year members support senior citizens' homes, area hospitals, children's homes for the abused and day care centers.  They spread joy, happiness and goodwill to those less fortunate than themselves.

CLC's main projects are the Thanksgiving Food Drive, Christmas Gift Drive, and the Mission Drive which is its largest project.  To benefit the missions, members sponsor a Talent Show in addition to sponsoring raffles, breakfast sales, and varied fund-raising activities.  In the Christmas Gift Drive, adopted families are outfitted with clothes and are given toys.

CLC is divided into two sections:  Junior Division (9th & 10th grades) and Senior Division (11th & 12th grades).
